Community champions are people in the community who take on an issue or project and are fearless in raising awareness and support for it. You do not have to be an expert or highly skilled to be a community champion. Community champions come from a variety of backgrounds. They represent a range of ages, cultures, genders, and professions.
When one thinks of a community champion, the thought may be a person or group that advocates on behalf of the community Striving to make a difference in our neighborhoods.
