The Timbits Learn to Play Program will provide parents, coaches and first year Timbits players an opportunity to experience Timbits Hockey and Hockey Calgary in a fun and educational environment. Players will particiate in five (5) ice sessions conducted by instructors from the National Sport Academy with the assistance of volunteer Coaches designed around the FUNdamentals of hockey. Parents will benefit by attending the mandatory parents meeting administered by a Hockey Calgary representative where they will receive a copy of the Timbits Manual and have an opportunity to ask questions or share any concerns they may have.

Coaches wanting to coach will have the opportunity to take part in a Clinic administered by Hockey Calgary where they will gain the resources and confidence needed to coach a Timbits team. The coaches will also get the opportunity to practice their skills while instructing some of the on ice sessions, where the instructors from the National Sport Academy will provide them with positive feedback and tips.
