WinSport is currently recruiting youth volunteers (ages 14-16) for their Hockey Summer Camps as Counselors in Training. The Hockey Summer Camps run in July and August and CIT volunteers support the Hockey Camp Counselors with group supervision, as well as help with the delivery of the hockey camp program both on and off the ice. They are looking for youth who are passionate about hockey, who enjoy being role models to young kids, enthusiastic and personable, and can commit to a minimum of two weeks this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for youth hockey players to develop and strengthen leadership skills and spend time during the summer on the ice.
Volunteers play a large role in helping the children at the camp develop hockey and skating skills, while supporting the development of future Olympic athletes. Volunteers will received lunch daily, the opportunity to call the ice at WinSport’s brand new, high performance training facility their training ground and volunteers who contribute 60 hours will receive a summer park pass.
