Calling all Calgary coaches!
Thanks to partnerships with Hockey Canada, Hockey Alberta, the Calgary Flames and Calgary Hitmen and NSD Sports & Fitness Club (NSD), Hockey Calgary is able to bring you Coaching Day in Alberta. Coaching Day in Alberta gives coaches from around Southern Alberta the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the province. This opportunity comes free of charge!
Coaching Day in Alberta will cover concepts applicable to all ages including: incorporating goalies into practice, skating, nutrition, player development and coaching development. You will hear from hockey personnel from the Flames, Hitmen, Hockey Canada, Hockey Alberta, Hockey Calgary, and NSD.
Cap the day off with your hockey team with an exclusive ticket offer for 20 people for $160, and watch the Hitmen take on the Prince Albert Raiders at 7:00 PM at Cardel’s Rockin’ Rally.
This promises to be a fun and informative day! The schedule is as follows:
7:00 – 8:00 am Registration/Breakfast
8:00 – 9:30 am Peewee/Novice Practice
9:45 – 10:45 am Hitmen Pregame Skate
11:00 – 12:00 pm Flames Practice
12:00 – 12:30 pm Lunch
12:30 – 1:30 pm Hockey Alberta/Flames Coach presentation
1:30 - 2:30 pm NSD Presentation, Hitmen training & locker room tour
2:30 - 2:45 pm Break
2:45 - 3:30 pm Hockey Canada Guest Speakers
3:30 - 4:00 pm Q & A
4:15 - 6:00 pm Reception AT King Club
