Hockey Calgary is happy to announce that Respect in Sport is back for a second year. Respect in Sport is striving to create a positive hockey experience for all people involved in minor hockey in Calgary which, in turn, ensures a safe and fun environment for children to play sports in.
New parents must ensure that at least one parent from each household has obtained their Respect in Sport certification before 11:59p.m. on Oct. 15, 2011.
Additionally, returning parents who have already taken the exam should double check that their children's information under "Child Management" is correct and up to date. Please make sure that the spelling of your child's name matches the spelling that was used when you signed up with Hockey Canada. If you recieve information that your child is not showing up in the system, you should also check that you are not using a shortened version of your child's name (i.e. Matt instead of Matthew), and that their date of birth is correct.Â
Please note that the Respect in Sport certification is a requirement of Hockey Calgary, and is therefore compulsory for enrollment in hockey.
