CZRC Female Only Referee Clinic

On October 20th and 21st the Central Zone Referees Committee (CZRC) will be holding its’ 3rd Annual Female Only referee clinic. It will be held at Mount Royal University and spans 2 days from 8:30am to 3:30pm. If you are interested in becoming an ice hockey official and don’t want to be in classroom full of men this is for you! Please gowww.czrc.ab.ca and click on the “clinics” tab on the left hand side. All the instructions are there on how to sign up and select your clinic. Female hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada and the opportunities for female officials are next to none. Calgary is home to the National team and professional women’s hockey (CWHL) and the need for highly skilled female officials is strong. Calgary is home to 2 elite female officials (Amanda Henderson and Rikki-lee Gavin) who have both travelled to National tournaments across the county but we need more!
